Magnesium

magnesium

Magnesium is involved in over 300 metabolic reactions; it’s a necessity for energy production, nerve, muscle & cardiac function, central nervous system communications, the utilization of calcium, as well as the synthesis of both DNA & the antioxidant glutathione.

Alcohol consumption, gastrointestinal conditions, persistent physical and/or emotional stress and certain health conditions can often rob your body of magnesium; check your medications too… there are a host of prescription and OTC drugs that can significantly deplete magnesium levels. In addition, persistently low magnesium can often result in an underproduction of stomach acid, which in turn can cause gastrointestinal syndromes, inflammatory conditions and a host of chronic health issues.*

Magnesium Plus Protocols

  • combine Vitamin d with magnesium to combat joint pain, muscle cramping and inflammation… even mood disorders - further optimize the utilization of magnesium & Vitamin d by supporting gastric hcl with zypan

  • combine glycine with magnesium to support detoxification & promote tissue repair (collagen peptides is my favorite, but choose either)
